A&E Cage Company cages we feel provide an excellent combination of safety and value. Here are some distinct advantages:
Walk-in Aviaries provide you with the ability to give your birds freedom to fly and move around while giving you the peace of mind of knowing they won't get into too much trouble as they would if they were free flighted in your home. You can fill your aviary with safe toys and actiivities to keep your birds entertained and stimulated all day long. The Birdsafe Store personally uses two flight cages, including one of the A&E walk-in aviaries (and we are ordering another).
As with all A&E cages, you have the following safety features:
-- Routine paint testing for lead and zinc. We can provide you a copy of the most recent test results for whatever cage color you order.
-- Welded bar construction instead of drilling holes like other companies do or having the panels simply slide in, risking your bird's feet, wings, or beaks getting caught. Using welded bars is safer for your bird and for you because there is no place for bacteria to grow. When you have the holes drilled through, bacteria gets into the holes and there is no way to get to it.
