Replacement door lock (half-moon type) for many AE cages. NOTE: We do not guarantee this will work on any cages other than A&E - and once you try to install it, is not returnable. Space between mounting holes is 2.5 inches.

NOTE: HQ Cages look very similar, but are not the same and these locks will not fit. The Feeder Doors are a giveaway: the sure way to know is the feeder door style. If it is drawbridge style it is HQ. CC4242 cages, 8040FL Cages and 4040FL cages are the 3 models that could be HQ or A&E that look very similar to each other.

Great lock

I could not find a similar replacement to the lock on my California cage so we tried one of these. It worked perfectly.

Cage Lock

Exactly what we needed! I didn't know the cage brand & was comparing our broken lock to what was available. My husband did have to re-drill holes in the cage, but he easily made it work.

Great lock but only lasted a year

Unsure what the lifespan is on these locks. I had the old one break on a cage that I only bought a year ago. Shipping was quick and the price for a replacement was affordable! Glad to have found a place to buy one!
