Great Chew Toy

These are wonderful Chew toys. I have 2 parrotlets that Chew these daily. They just love to destroy the soft pulpy wood.

Q: What are the sizes of the wafers? thickness and width.

A: These are not "wafers" but larger pieces of agave/yucca that are about 2" across and 1" thick.

Q: Another site said that agave was bad for birds. Can you help clarify?

A: I have never heard of such a thing! Agave pieces (also known as yucca or kiote) are perfectly safe for birds. we have been giving them to our birds for 30 years! If the other site is talking about agave sugar, then that is something different entirely.
