Nibblefest!
Who'd have thought something so basic could make such a great toy. My cockatiels tear through a pine cone in the coarse of a day.

Great Chewing Experience for my Cockatiel
My bird loved the original pine cone and is, naturally, just as enthusiastic about the refills. It gives him such a good experience breaking off pieces and chewing them. Of course, he doesn't eat the pieces. He does work at the pine cone until it's in shreds. I anchor the bottom so it doesn't frustrate him by moving away from him each time he tries to bite the cone.

pine cones
I have a parrot that is a feather plucker. These pine cones are great for him to chew, which keeps him content and distracts him from plucking.

In-Store Review
I designed this toy for my Red-Bellied Parrot, who loves to chew on the plastic ends of shoe laces. When I gaves it to her to try, she went right for it and loves it. My Meyer's did the same thing. I took pictures and posted them on the site because they were so cute playing with the toy. It is a very bold and bright colored toy and makes the cage or playgym very cheery. I also like the fact that it is very easy to clean. The butterflies, stars, and hearts are a slightly bigger bead than the pony bead.
