32 inch comfy pearch ny Eclectus Parrots love thease . We have had many overthe last ten or twelve years. We mix up the sizes and also use sandy type pearches.

Great for bird foot comfort and preening

I love Booda cables. They are brightly colored and attractive looking in the bird cages, come in many lengths and styles, and are a good value for the money. I use them in my cockatoo's main cage, travel cage, and for hanging perches. They add to variety of size/textured perches for my cockatoo. She favors them over the ribbon wood, manzinita wood, or other perches I offer her. As a bonus, she loves to preen the small cotton strands out of them, so they serve a toy function also. Some of the manufacturers recommend you wash them, but I have found that sometimes the glue comes loose that holds the end cap on after a wash. I do however follow the manufacturers recommendation to keep them trimmed of long strands to keep from foot entrapment- usually an annual task. I like to replace the heavily used ones every two years as they get used up being preened, but less often used perches have lasted a decade.

Great perch for cockatoo

I love the 36 inch comfy perch for my Citron Cockatoo. I have to by extra because sometimes he gets an attitude and chews the perch until it falls apart. I had to replace it twice in one week because I forgot to put his favorite toy back in his cage.

Comfy perches are the best to add additional perches to cages especially when you need a perch to bend and give more access to food water bowls. We have had some for more than 10 years and still good. Easily washable in the dishwasher. 36 inch has a good diameter for a macaw.

Great for perching

I love that it's flexible and holds shape. Our grey loves that is can also serve as a chew toy!
