Leather Lace - 1/8" - 60" long

These leather lace 1/8" thin strips have been our Birds' favorite for many many years. I've bought the thicker ones, but they LOVE these best. This is a MUST have at our Bird house.

good stuff

I like buying from Birdsafe because I feel like Joe has vetted the sourcing for the leather. I could probably buy it at a craft store, but then I wouldn't know it was non-toxic. This is the flat cord and perfect for making toys or wrapping cage bars so my parrots aren't always gripping the metal (they hang on the top of their cages, but not the perch part).

Perfect for toy making

Great leather strips for making my own toys or just hanging stray foot toys or bells around the cage to keep the birds busy. I like that they are vegetable tanned.

Nibbles

My conure likes to nibble on these leather strips and they're great to tie up the end of a toy. I've given her just a knotted little strip of it and she likes playing with that as well. I've heard some birds like untying the knots, too!
