Directions: Add one part mix to two parts boiling water. After water returns to boil, cover and simmer at reduced heat for 45-50 minutes or until beans are tender. Drain and cool before serving.

My bird loves this bean mix

This is the first time I've purchased this bean mix and was very pleased to see how much my parrot enjoyed it for his dinner tonight. It does require a little forethought because the mix needs to be soaked overnight then simmered for about 2 hours. I made a few servings worth and will freeze some for later use. I think it's a great value for the variety of beans and grains in this blend.

Monty's new favorite!

I adopted a 15 year old Eclectus parrot that plucks his feathers. I was researching a healthy diet to hopefully help his feathers grow back in and found this food. He LOVES it. It sits by his bowl and begs for more when it runs out. The Bird Safe Store has amazingly fast shipping, you definitely have a customer for life.

Excellent Product

My parrot loves this product. It is easy to prepare. I store it in ice cube trays and thaw just enough to feed her daily. I would highly recommend this product.
