Q:Is this travel cage big enough for a large macaw?

A: It would be if you don't mind a bent tail! The other option is the Large Perch 'N Go carrier -- that allows a long-tailed bird like a macaw more room horizontally.

Q:I purchased a Wingabago about 2 years ago. My Triton Cockatoo absolutely loves it! He prefers it to his very large normal birdcage. My questions is, do you make an even larger one, or have you ever considered doing so? I can imagine that he could be happier being able to see the world without bars on a daily basis and a happy cockatoo is a quiet cockatoo!

A: That would be a question for the manufacturer directly -- given the steps involved in design and getting an overseas factory geared up to make a new size I think would be difficult, but you never know. I would also think that larger size might not be airline approved so that would weigh in the decision. You might do an online search for "acrylic cages" - as I think there are companies that do make those - though I would be concerned about airflow for long-term use of one.

A: You can see the photo shows an Amazon in the Small carrier, so it would be fine, but if it is an extended say in the carrier, the more room the better.

A: The Large Carrier is 9 pounds, as compared to the Small, which is 7 pounds.

Q:Please designate which is length, which is width and which is depth--not just 15"x15"x22". For one thing dimension sequence is not universal. Second, even if ut were, people forget. So 15"L x 15"Wx 22"D or whatever on all your products would be so helpful for the customer instead of having to waste our tim asking questions then waiting fir the answers.

A: The assumption is that the product image is such that it is clear that the depth and width are the same (15") and that the height would be 22" since it is much taller than it is wide or deep, but you have a valid point that it should clear for some to tell what it is exactly.

Q:I almost ordered the Large Wingabago from you but thank God I didn't. because you do nor give full information. ANOTHER website says NOT TO ORDER THIS FOR LARGE MACAWS as it will not accommodate their tails. I am so disappointed you didn't provide this crucial information. So what transparent carrier, if ant, do you provide for long-tailed , extra-large macaws?

A: There are pros and cons to any carrier. While this carrier might be tall enough for a long-tailed macaw, other carriers, such as the Large Perch 'N Go may be long enough but some customers prefer the upright orientation of the Wingabago as opposed to their birds being forced to being more horizontal. We leave the decision in the hands of the customer and would NOT say DO NOT purchase this carrier for any type of bird. That is your decision, not ours.
